Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are a contract between you and Pulse and Purpose, a registered DBA of APRIL’S CHOICE LLC (“ComeAlong”, “we”, “us”), covering the ComeAlong app and the comealongapp.com website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Who can use ComeAlong

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The kids, pets, and other people you add to your group are managed entirely by you, the adult account holder; they don’t have their own accounts.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your phone and number secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

• Be respectful. Don’t harass, threaten, endanger, or harm others.
• Don’t use ComeAlong for anything unlawful, or to spam or impersonate others.
• Don’t break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service, or access it in unauthorized ways.
• Only add people to your group that you’re responsible for, and only invite people you trust to your circles.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the ComeAlongs, names, photos, and details you post. You grant us the limited, non-exclusive license needed to store and display that content to the circles you share it with, so the Service can function. You’re responsible for what you post and for having the right to share it.

5. Safety

ComeAlong helps people meet in real life. Use good judgment, especially around children and pets. You are responsible for your own safety and that of anyone in your care when you choose to meet up. ComeAlong does not vet users and is not responsible for the conduct of other users, online or in person.

6. Premium & fees

ComeAlong is free to use. We may offer an optional Premium subscription with higher limits and extra features (such as posting public ComeAlongs). If you buy one, it’s billed through your Apple App Store account, where you manage, renew, or cancel it; Apple’s terms and refund policies apply.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pulse and Purpose and APRIL’S CHOICE LLC from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in King County, Washington for any dispute not subject to other agreed resolution.

11. Termination

You can stop using ComeAlong and delete your account at any time (see Support). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves; we’ll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them. Questions? Email hello@pulseandpurpose.net.
