Terms of Use

ComeAlong / 走嘛 is operated by Pulse and Purpose (pulseandpurpose.net), a registered DBA of APRIL’S CHOICE LLC.

1. Who can use ComeAlong

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The kids, pets, and other people you add to your group are managed entirely by you, the adult account holder; they don’t have their own accounts.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your phone and number secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law, with or without notice. We have no obligation to pre-screen or monitor user content, but we reserve the right to review and remove it, and we cooperate with law enforcement where legally required. Report abuse in the app (press and hold any message) or through Support.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the plans, names, photos, and details you post. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content to the circles you share it with, so the Service can function. You’re responsible for what you post and for having the right to share it.

User content belongs to the user who posted it. We don’t endorse user content, we are not its publisher or author, and we are not responsible for it; we may still remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Safety

ComeAlong helps people meet in real life. Use good judgment, especially around children and pets. We don’t vet users, run background checks, or supervise plans, and we can’t guarantee anyone’s identity, behavior, or safety. When you host or join a plan you do so voluntarily and at your own risk: you’re responsible for your own safety and that of anyone in your care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release ComeAlong from any claims arising out of interactions between users or out of anything that happens at or around a plan.

6. Our role: a platform, not a participant

ComeAlong is a neutral platform: plans are created, shared, and run by users themselves. We do not create, organize, host, control, or supervise plans, and we are not a party to any interaction, agreement, or exchange between users. If users buy, sell, or exchange anything (money, goods, services, or anything else), that dealing is solely between them; ComeAlong is not involved and bears no responsibility for it. Each user is solely responsible for their own conduct. If a user breaks the law, that is their individual act, not ours; it is also a violation of these Terms and grounds for losing their account.

7. Fees

ComeAlong is currently free to use, with no paid subscription. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, we’ll show the price before you buy, and any purchase would be billed through your Apple App Store account under Apple’s terms and refund policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pulse and Purpose and APRIL’S CHOICE LLC from claims arising out of your content, the plans you host or join, your use of the Service, your interactions or dealings with other users (online or in person), or your violation of these Terms, the law, or the rights of others.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute not otherwise resolved by agreement, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in King County, Washington.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.

12. Termination

You can stop using ComeAlong and delete your account at any time (see Support). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk.

13. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves; we’ll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them. Questions? Email hello@pulseandpurpose.net.
